On Nov. 7, the annual Buddy Poppy Day campaign was held. We want to thank Wal-Mart Supercenter and both Dillions stores for allowing Buddy Poppy workers to use their premises.

Without these valuable locations, it would be difficult to have a successful day.

We want to thank the volunteers for being at the locations for several hours, for without their help, it would have been impossible to conduct a good day.

The most important thanks goes to the public for responding with their generous contributions.
