MOUNDRIDGE — Delbert D. Goering, 81, died Sunday (Nov. 1, 2009) at Memorial Home in Moundridge.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1927, in McPherson County to Benjamin B.J. and Anna (Goering) Goering.
He was an elementary school teacher and administrator.
He married Julaine J. Preheim on May 26, 1955, in Freeman, S.D. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Randy (Annette) Goering of Great Bend; daughter, DeAnna Goering of Hutchinson; brothers, Milo Goering of Halstead, Orlando Goering of Freeman and Clarence Goering of Moundridge; a sister, Dorothy Krehbiel of Inman; and two grandchildren, Lindsey (Cory) Elsen and Kendra Goering, both of Hays.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moundridge Funeral Home in Moundridge, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eden Mennonite Church. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Mennonite Central Committee or Bethel College in care of the funeral home.
