Robert J. “Bob” Chase, 73, passed away Friday (June 26, 2009) at Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita.
He was a U.S. Air Fore retired chief master sergeant. He later worked for more than 10 years in civil service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly (Harvey) Chase; a son, Randal J. “Randy” Chase; brother, Edwin Chase; and a step-grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte (Unger) Chase of Potwin; daughter, Lorie and Joel Unger of Furley; four grandchildren, Caitlin and Chase Kozak of Furley, and Samantha and Ryan Chase of Germantown, Ohio; brother, John (Chris) Chase of North Highlands, Calif.; stepchildren, Alvin (Brenda) Bonjour of Tecumseh, Pamala Bonjour-Jlotzbach of Topeka, Dale (Michelle) Bonjour of Berryton and Karl (Darcy) Bonjour of Topeka; six step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Potwin Christian Church.
Interment with military rites will be at McGill Cemetery in Potwin.
Memorial funds have been established for the Air Force Enlisted Village or Potwin Christian Church.
