M. Pauline Beedles, 86, died Friday (Nov. 13, 2009) at Kidron Bethel Health Care in North Newton.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1922, in Arkansas City to Emmitt L. and B. Madeline (Smith) Brewer.
She married Floyd Dee Beedles on Oct. 10, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1992.
She was a member of Beaumont Christian Church in Beaumont and  Eastern Star, where she received her 50-year pin. She enjoyed spending time reading.
Pauline greatly looked forward to spending time with her loving daughters and grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Weaver of Newton and Judy Miller of Dodge City; a sister, Maxine Broadstock of El Dorado; three grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and sister Cheryl Jones.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka. Burial will be at the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels in care of the funeral home.
