Dorothy Linn passed away Tuesday (Nov. 3, 2009) in Corinth, Texas.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1920, in Moundridge to Joseph J. and Lena Stucky Wedel. She attended Volunteer Grade School and Moundridge High School, graduating in 1937. She attended, was baptized and became a member of Eden Mennonite Church in 1936.

On Dec. 9, 1941, she married Charles Tieszen and became a member of Tabor Mennonite Church of rural Newton. To this union were born three sons.

In 1961, she and her sons moved to McPherson, where she joined the Congregational Church and remained a member until her death.

On May 5, 1963, she married Clinton K. Linn of Newton, where they resided until 1965, then moved to Redlands, Calif. In late 1966, they were transferred to Kings Mountain, N.C. and, in late 1967, were transferred to Elkhart, Ind. In 1985, they moved to Denton, Texas.

She was the mother of three sons, Bob Tieszen of Sanger, Texas, and Jim and Dwayne Tieszen of Denton. Her husband, Clinton Linn, also survives of Denton.

Her father and mother preceded her in death. She also was proceeded in death by one sister, Velma Guhr of North Newton, and one brother, Harvey Wedel of Moundridge.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, with the Pastor Bill Hickerson presiding.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
