Centre qualifies for Class 1A state

The Centre High School golf team placed second at the Class 1A regionals Monday at the Cedar Hills Golf Course in Washington.

Leavenworth Immaculata won the tournament at 385, followed by Centre at 410 and Hartford at 419. The top three qualified for state. Linn shot a 437, followed by Centralia at 445 and Olpe at 459.

The state tournament is Monday at the Dodge City Country Club.
