Anthony Lohmolder salutes the new American flag Tuesday he and other cub scouts put up at Sports and Imports in Newton. He and other Webelos Cub Scouts from Hesston Pack 112 replaced a torn and tattered flag at the local business. While at camp earlier this month, the scouts learned about flag ceremonies from another group. On Oct. 18, as the scouts returned from camp at Webelos Woods, Lohmolder noticed the worn-out flag at the local car business in Newton. Webelos Nate Cornio asked the owner of the business if they could replace it, and he agreed.
