Jeff Heidel and Amanda Botterweck will present a program on High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography at 7 p.m. today at Newton Public Library. The public is invited to attend the free program, which will take place at the library, 720 N. Oak.
High Dynamic Range photography is an advanced set of techniques that play on an image’s dynamic range in exposures. HDR photography allows photographers to capture a greater range of tonal detail than any camera could capture through a single photo. The Botterwecks will explain what HDR is, how to shoot for it and how to process the images to get the desired result. This type of photography may be accomplished with most types of cameras.
