Penner, Rhoades, Preheim to speak during Life Enrichment Wednesday

Morning sessions for Life Enrichment will not take place on Nov. 18. A Thanksgiving dinner will be served at 1 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the Schultz Center dining hall at Bethel College. The price of the meal is $6.95, and tickets must be purchased by Wednesday.

The following are the programs scheduled for Life Enrichment this Wednesday:

• 9:30 a.m. — “A Glimpse into the Hearts and Souls of Bernhard and Mina Warkentin” by Karen Penner, docent and secretary of Warkentin House in Newton.

• 10:35 a.m. — “Anticipating the 2010 Legislative Session” by Marc Rhoades, Kansas House of Representatives, District 72.

• 11:30 a.m. — “Book ReViews: After 20 Years” by Vern Preheim, manager.

Life Enrichment is for people ages 60 and older. The cost is $20 per semester or $2 per week.

Life Enrichment meets in Krehbiel Auditorium of the Bethel College Fine Arts Center in North Newton.
