Luke and Kristen McCormick of Lawrence announce the birth of a daughter, Olivia Joy McCormick, who was born on Aug. 19, 2011, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
At birth, the baby weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
Paternal grandparents are Richard and Joan McCormick of Emporia.
Maternal grandparents are Stan and Connie Achilles of Newton.
Maternal great-grandparents are Les and Joy Thiessen of Moundridge, and Lu Achilles Wall of McPherson. Paternal great-grandparents are Jean Hollern of Emporia and Jean McCormick of Lebo.
