The following is the Meals on Wheels menu for Sunday, Jan. 29, through Saturday, Feb. 4. Items for people with diabetes are listed in parentheses.

Sunday — Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, lima beans, pineapple, roll, ice cream, (sugar-free ice cream), milk.

Monday — Country sausage on a bun, baked potato, corn, applesauce, milk.

Tuesday — Chicken and dumplings, peas, mandarin oranges and bananas, oatmeal raisin cookie, (vanilla wafers), milk.

Wednesday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, Italian mix vegetables, peaches, garlic bread, chocolate cake, (angelfood cake), milk.

Thursday — Smothered pork cutlet, noodles, beets, pears, roll, tapioca pudding, (sugar-free pudding), milk.

Friday — Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, creamed peas, apricots, roll, vanilla wafers, milk.

Saturday — Fish nuggets, hash browns, cabbage, banana, roll, graham crackers, jelly, milk.

Those interested in receiving meals should call 283-3500.

The meals are prepared by Newton Medical Center and are delivered by volunteers seven days a week, including holidays. Diabetic diets are served when ordered by a physician.
