Ribbon cuttings: Newton Chamber honors two local businesses

In the photo at left, Heather Klaassen, director of new business development/PR with Axon Displays, demonstrates one of the company’s NTouch machines to Mayor Ken Hall and local business owner John Back during a ribbon cutting Jan. 23. The NTouch project started as a collaboration between Vox Creatives and the Newton Chamber and now will be taken over by Axon Displays.

The Chamber also hosted a ribbon cutting Thursday for Asbury Station and Newton Community Child Care, 200 S.W. 14th St. Newton Community Child Care announced a remodel for the expansion of their Asbury location is complete. They are located inside of Asbury Park and feature a unique, inter-generational program.
