Whitewater man in farming accident

A 35-year-old Whitewater man was run over by a piece of farm machinery Monday afternoon.

Newton and Whitewater emergency crews responded to the scene just after 10 a.m. Monday.

The man was taken to Wesley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, said Sgt. Luke Grimes of the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. Officials did not release the man’s name.
