Memorial Home in Moundridge will have an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the facility’s newly renovated Crossroads area, which is the intersection of three health-care “neighborhoods.”
The nurse’s station was replaced with “a bright, open area that feels warm and friendly,” a news release from the facility stated.
A counter by the nutrition center already has been used for elders to shuck corn, snap green beans and help mix up batter for zucchini bread. There also is a TV, a computer, games on tables and a new corner nurses’ desk.
