MOUNDRIDGE —
Memorial Home in Moundridge will have an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the facility’s newly renovated Crossroads area, which is the intersection of three health-care “neighborhoods.”
The nurse’s station was replaced with “a bright, open area that feels warm and friendly,” a news release from the facility stated.A counter by the nutrition center already has been used for elders to shuck corn, snap green beans and help mix up batter for zucchini bread. There also is a TV, a computer, games on tables and a new corner nurses’ desk.
