The bride is the daughter of Ron and Becky Wedel of Goessel. The groom is the son of Kevin and Linda Spencer of Ottawa.

Maid of honor was Jessie Fensky, friend of the bride of Moundridge. Bridesmaids were Olivia Quiring, friend of the bride of Newton; Jenny Spencer, sister-in-law of the groom of Ottawa; and Heidi Boese, friend of the bride of Hesston.
Best man was friend of the groom Kirk Mille of Pamona. Groomsmen were Matt Jones, friend of the groom of Ottawa; Brad Spencer, brother of the groom of Ottawa; and Kipper Wolken, friend of the groom of Ottawa.
Flower girl was cousin of the bride Peyton Neufeld of Hesston. Ring bearer was Ross Spencer, son of the groom of Ottawa.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Goessel High School and a 2011 graduate of Hesston College. She is a registered nurse at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Ottawa High School and works at Spencer Farms in Ottawa.

A reception was at the Engine Club Building on the Mennonite Heritage Museum grounds in Goessel. Hosting were Tim and Katie Wedel of Goessel, and Daryl and Jacque Wedel of Newton, aunts and uncles of the bride.
