Four arrested after officers find drugs at Sedgwick home

SEDGWICK —

Four people were arrested Thursday after officers executed a search warrant and came across a marijuana-growing operation.

The Harvey County Sheriff’s Department acquired a warrant to seize computers from a Sedgwick home.

The investigation was searching for someone who was downloading child pornography on the Internet.

According to Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton, officers found marijuana plants in the home when they went to seize the computers.

Four people were arrested. Jacob Clark, 21, Mistie Clark, 47, and Robert Clark, 50, all of Sedgwick, were arrested Thursday in the 100 block of West Third Street in Sedgwick.

Jackie S. Tamillo, 48, of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., also was arrested.

The search-and-seizure operation utilized 10 officers.

Departments involved in the operation were the Harvey County Sheriff’s Department, Sedgwick City Police, and the Newton and North Newton police departments.
