The Newton VFW Post 971 will observe a Veteran’s Day ceremony at 6 p.m. at the post, 1610 S.E. Third St. All veterans and their families are invited.
There will be a ham and bean dinner with dessert, as well as a program. The Boeing Jazz Band will perform. Veterans will be recognized; wear a uniform.
