Bethel College Mennonite Church invites members of the community to worship at 9:30 a.m. when Duane Goossen will give reflections on public service as part of an ongoing worship series on the practice of service.
Goossen has served in a variety of Kansas public service roles as a member of the Goessel City Council, a state legislator representing Marion and Chase counties, the Kansas budget director, and the Kansas secretary of administration.
He works at the Kansas Health Institute — a non-partisan organization providing information to legislators and others about health policy.
