District band concert set for Sunday

The annual Newton All-District Band Concert is 4:00 p.m Sunday. This free concert and will be at the Athletic Park Band Shell, and features band students in grades six through 12. The concert will have marches, movie music and a saxophone solo by senior Ethan Kinderknecht. Concessions will be available, and audience members should bring their own blankets or chairs.
