Voran recital on Feb. 12

Bethel College student Rachel Voran, Newton, will give her senior violin recital at 4 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Administration Building chapel.

Voran will graduate from Bethel College in December with a degree in music, with education certification. She is a student of Nancy Johnson, Bethel College adjunct instructor of violin.

Voran’s program will include works by Bach, Beethoven, Grieg and Sarasate.

Her accompanists are Karen Bauman Schlabaugh, Bethel College professor of music, and Michelle Unruh, freshman from Goessel.

Voran is the daughter of Brent and Cora Voran of Newton.

The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in The Meeting Place, in the Ad Building basement.
