GRASS FIRE BURNS MORE THAN 100 ACRES

Firefighters from the Burrton and Moundridge fire departments regroup after spending more than two hours Tuesday fighting a grass fire near Northwest 34 Street and Burmac Road. An estimated 100 to 150 acres burned when a controlled burn from Saturday rekindled, Burrton Fire Chief Jon Roberts said.
