The Board of Harvey County Commissioners has a full slate scheduled for Monday’s meeting.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the courthouse.The first action item up for discussion is the city of Wichita water department Application for a conditional-use permit to place two microwave communication towers.The second action item is an agreement between Harvey County and Virgil Penner for soliciting and obtaining donations for the new Harvey County fairgrounds.The next action item is an agreement between Harvey County and Ken Yaeger Consulting to provide services to bid and inspect a roof at the Harvey County Detention Center.The commission then will discuss proposed amendments of the development code, concerning communication towers and tower fees.Next, the commission will discuss a resolution for recovery act bonds for the Tindall Corp.The sixth action item is an agreement between Harvey County and Priefert Complex Designs to design facilities at the new fairgrounds.Finally, the commission will take action on an agreement between Poe and Associates and Harvey County to provide bridge inspection services for 2010.NEWTON —
