Angela Christine Thiessen, 20, passed away in her sleep on February 1, 2012, at her residence near Burns.  
She was born in Newton, the daughter of Gary and Monica Krehbiel Thiessen. She was a graduate of Remington High School. She was a beautician at The Parlor in El Dorado.  
She is lovingly survived by her parents of rural Burns; her fiancé David DeFord; her siblings: Carissa and husband Justin Wiebe; Jordan and wife Julia; Ashley and husband Joshua Wiebe; Shandra and husband Benjamin Wiebe; Jeremy and fiancée Molly Brickley; Jacob; Briana; Katelin; Rachelle; and Jesse; paternal grandparents Wilferd and Gladys Thiessen; maternal grandparents Ben and Betty Krehbiel; and her nieces and nephews: Brittany, Jarrett, Brylee, Elayna, Emma, Seth and Faith.  
Visitation with family will be held today (Friday) from 6 – 8 p.m. at Emmaus Mennonite Church, Whitewater. Interment will be in the Pleasant Center Cemetery, rural Burns, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Emmaus Mennonite Church, Whitewater, with Pastor Steve Scott presiding.  
The Angela Thiessen Memorial Fund has been established for the benefit of various children’s organizations and missions, in care Lamb Funeral Home, PO Box 358, Whitewater, KS, 67154.
