Prince, who Fair said will get his name changed, was one of 20 Shih Tzu dogs brought Tuesday to Caring Hands Humane Society after being seized by the Kansas Animal Health Department from a breeding operation in southeast Kansas.

20 Shih Tzu dogs were brought Tuesday to Caring Hands Humane Society after being seized by the Kansas Animal Health Department from a breeding operation in southeast Kansas.  A total of 30 dogs were seized, and there were at least six people waiting Tuesday at the humane society to adopt some of the dogs when they were brought in by the KAHD. The humane society was just taking applications Tuesday.

The dogs are available for adoption, and volunteers, donations and foster home applicants all are needed. For more information, call 283-0839 or visit www.caringhandshs.org.
