‘An Enchanted Evening’ event slated for Nov. 1

The “An Enchanted Evening” gala event is scheduled for Nov. 1 at Hesston Mennonite Church, 309 S. Main St. in Hesston.

Entertainment will be provided by Bethany College’s chamber and bell choirs.

The evening will begin with a social time at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and then the featured entertainment.

Valet parking and coat check will be provided.

Reservations are $125 per person. Reservations are due by Oct. 20, by contacting Ruby Stucky, Cindy Wierwille or Al Penner at the Schowalter Villa development office, 705 S. Main St., Suite 206, Hesston, KS 67062 or (620) 327-2007.

The costs of hosting the event have been fully underwritten by Hesston Decorating Center Inc., Preferred Builders Inc. and Williams Janitorial Supply Warehouse in Wichita.

All proceeds will benefit the Villa’s Good Samaritan Caring Fund, which provides financial support to assisted living and health-care residents who no longer are able to pay for the full cost of their care.

Schowalter Villa is a non-profit retirement community.
