The following is the Meals on Wheels menu for Sunday, Jan. 15, through Saturday, Jan. 21. Items for people with diabetes are listed in parentheses.

Sunday — Creole chicken breast, rice, California vegetables, tropical fruit, roll, sherbet, (sugar-free ice cream), milk.

Monday — Turkey and noodles with cheese, peas and carrots, pineapple and bananas, roll, graham crackers, milk.

Tuesday — Beef tips, rice, broccoli, plums, roll, vanilla pudding, (sugar-free pudding), milk.

Wednesday — Pork chop in onion gravy, mashed potatoes, creamed peas, peaches, roll, milk.

Thursday — Turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, pumpkin dessert, roll, milk.

Friday — Baked fish, macaroni and cheese, sugar snap peas, apricots, roll, chocolate chip cookie, (graham crackers), milk.

Saturday — Hamburger, bun, french fries, four-bean salad, banana, milk.

Those interested in receiving meals should call 283-3500.

The meals are prepared by Newton Medical Center and are delivered by volunteers seven days a week, including holidays. Diabetic diets are served when ordered by a physician.
