Eric and Wanda Friesen of Cimarron announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Kendra Yvonne, to Slade Byran. Slade is the son of Chris Headrick of Newton, and Darin and Kathy Headrick of Greensburg.
Kendra is a 2007 graduate of Greensburg High School and graduated with a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Wichita State University in May 2010. She is enrolled in the MBA program at WSU.
Slade is a 2007 graduate of Greensburg High School and will graduate in December from Kansas State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.
The couple will be married on Dec. 17 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita.
