New exhibit opening featuring artists Jill Armendariz and Erica Anderson • 6:30 to 9 p.m. • Tortoise Gallery and Art Center • 128 Main St. • Halstead.

Albert H. Krehbiel artwork on display • Carriage Factory Art Gallery • 128 E. Sixth St. • Newton. See more than 30 original works of Impressionist artist and Kansas native Albert H. Krehbiel. Admission is free. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
