Artists Judy Dove and Scott Brown will be featured in a new exhibit, "Form & Shape," at 7 p.m. July 14 at the Carriage Factory Gallery.
Dove and Brown worked in a variety of mediums to create "Form & Shape."
During an artist reception, Dove and Brown will share about their work that includes paintings, collages, prints and mobiles. Music will be provided by flutists Joyann Brake and Erin Sundquist, and refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
Dove received her master of fine arts degree from Wichita State University with a major in printmaking and a minor in painting. She has been featured in one-person and group shows and has taught workshops and college-level classes.
Brown is a fine arts professor at Hutchinson Comunity College and has his own methods and outlets to engage his creative tendencies. His discovery of a vintage Line-O-Scribe printing press several years ago gave him the impetus to start "The Big Nasty Press." Under that banner, he creates new works of art, often in collaboration with other artists. Brown also creates unique collages and tabletop mobiles.
The works of Judy Dove and Scott Brown will be for sale and on display through Sept. 7
