One area player was named to The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Stars rosters for 2018: Kason O'Neal of Halstead. 

Also a member of the Topeka Capital-Journal all class teams, O'Neal was a member of the Class 3A state championship team this season.  He was named the Class 3A tournament Most Outstanding Player, leading all scorers during the 3A tournament averaging 14.7 points.

The KBCA named the all-star teams March 26.

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games will be June 23 at Kansas Wesleyan University, Mabee Arena, in Salina.  The girls game will be at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow.

The KBCA named Taylor Robertson of  McPherson High School as Miss Kansas Basketball. Ben Pyle of McPherson was named Mr. Kansas Basketball.
