BRAINERD — Kimalee Cook scored 29 points to lead the Remington Bronco girls to a 59-44 win over Ell-Saline Friday in Heart of America League play at Remington.

The Broncos led 19-12 after the first quarter and 32-16 at the half.

Lexi Kochanowski led Ell-Saline with 10 points.

Remington is 6-11, 2-6 in HOAL play, and plays today at Moundridge.

BRAINERD — The Remington Bronco boys got off to a 13-3 lead and held off Ell-Saline the rest of the way for a 58-46 HOAL win Friday at Remington.

The Broncos led 23-14 at the half.

Bryaden Marciano led Remington led the Broncos with 21 points. Jadihn Martin and Chase Bowen each added 10 points.

Mason Farrell led Ell-Saline with 11 points. Sawyer Kramer added 10.

Ell-Saline falls to 4-14, 1-7 in HOAL play.

Remington is 6-11, 2-8 in HOAL play, and plays today at Moundridge.

INMAN — The Moundridge Wildcat boys fell to rival Inman 49-47 Friday in HOAL play in Inman.

The Wildcats trailed 23-19 at the half.

“Kids executed a defensive game plan well but we didn't shoot it as well as we need to,” Moundridge coach Vance Unrau said. “Shooting in the 30's makes it difficult. Guys have to make shots and we missed open looks. We battled back from several eight-point deficits but could never take the lead.”

Payton Froese led Inman with 19 points. Jason Eddy scored 11. Mason Thiessen scored 10 points with 11 rebounds.

Jerod Kaufman and Dillon Vogts each scored 14 points for Moundridge.

Moundridge hosts Remington today.
