Police have found 12-year-old Nancy Ann Marie Miller, who went missing Oct. 12 when she was reported as a runaway by her parents.

Miller was found by Wichita police Tuesday. She was taken to a shelter for children in Wichita and Newton Police notified.

Miller left the family home in the evening hours of Oct. 12 with a juvenile male who was found shortly after.

Her parents and police were able to keep an eye on Miller while she was missing through using social media.

"She has been posting on social media," said Lt. Scott Powell with the Newton Police Department. "She posts videos of herself just hanging out and being a kid."

Powell said it appeared she was moving from house to house in the community. She was not in direct contact with her parents.
