Two local businesses announced they will be helping the family of Emerie Masters, a 7-year-old girl who is fighting lymphoma.
Kansas Zombie Hunters LLC and Down in the Hollar Pumpkin Patch of Newton recently announced a plan to donate a portion of their business proceeds to Masters' family to offset the costs associated with her medical treatment. Masters is receiving treatment for her cancer at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, according to her mother, Michelle Masters.
Kansas Zombie Hunters LLC is hosting a series of hayrack rides/zombie hunts this fall in Harvey County. The hayracks are equipped with air-powered paintball guns that can be fired at live “zombies.” In addition to the zombie hunts, there will be food vendors, a pumpkin patch and other entertainment. The events are designed to appeal to the entire family.
