County Fair weekend has arrived. Most activities, except the rodeo, demolition derby, ATV rodeo and carnival, are free during the several days of the fair at 800 W. First.

6:30 to 9 p.m. — Swine Check In and Weigh In - All Swine must be on the grounds

6:45 p.m. — Small Engines and Electricity Judging

7 to 9 p.m. — Early Check In for Open Class (except Dept. F-Crops, Garden and Floriculture)

7:30 p.m. — 4-H and Open Woodworking Judging

8 p.m. —  Newton Saddle Club Rodeo, CPRA Sanctioned

8 to 10 a.m. —  Exhibit Check-In (Check Department for specific check-in times)

8 to 10 a.m. — Exhibit Check-In Home Arts Division

8 to 11 a.m. — Open and 4-H - Floriclture, Horticulture and Crop Check-In

8 to 11 a.m. —  4-H and open poultry Check in

8:30 to 10 a.m. —  4-H Arts and Crafts and Fiber Arts Judging

8:30 a.m. —  Registration for Pedal Pull, Athletic Park

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Market At The Park - Athletic Park (North End)

9 to 11 a.m. —  Ag Fest, Sponsored by Harvey Co. Farm Bureau Association, Southwest Dairy Farmers Association and First Bank. Athletic Park

9:15 a.m. —  Pedal Pull, Athletic Park. Sponsors: Harvey County Farm Bureau Association and JandM Ag Service Inc.; Trophy, Citizens State Bank

10 a.m. —  4-H Beef Check In

10:30 a.m. —  4-H Project Displays, Posters and Notebooks Judging. Open Home Arts Division Judging
