Author to visit Newton

Bill Bush will sign copies of his debut novel, Vetrix, from 1 to 3 p.m. July 1 from 1-3 pm at Faith & Life Bookstore, 606 Main.

Bush co-wrote the book with his teenage son, Blake. Vetrix is a science fiction/fantasy book about a young boy caught between two warring alien races. He must choose a side and find a way home, all while trying to save the planet.

While this is his first novel, Bush has many collections of short stories and writes a column for the Harvey County Independent newspaper in Halstead.
