Holiday open house on Saturday raising funds for breast cancer

Breast Friends is a group of women who are mothers, sisters, aunts and friends who are raising money to fight breast cancer.

They are walking in a three-day event in August 2010 in Denver.

Each member needs to raise $2,300 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The group will have a holiday open house from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 801 W. Broadway in Newton.

Crafts, baked goods, American Girl clothes and jewelry will be available.
