Bethel College announces recipients of academic scholarships for the 2009-10 school year who are first-time freshmen at the college. Academic scholarships at Bethel are based on high school grade point average and college entrance exams.
The following is the remainder of the students. The first list was published on Oct. 22:
• Audra Miller, Hesston, has been awarded the President’s Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $32,000 over a four-year period. Miller is a graduate of Hesston High School. Her parents are Marcia and Steven Miller.
• Julia Miller, Hesston, has been awarded the Dean’s Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $27,200 over a four-year period. Miller is a graduate of Hesston High School. Her parents are Marcia and Steven Miller.
• Levi Minkevitch, Newton, has been awarded the Outstanding Student Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $22,400 over a four-year period. Minkevitch is a graduate of Newton High School. His parents are Joan and Paul Minkevitch.
• Amanda Regehr, Whitewater, has been awarded the Thresher Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $34,400 over a four-year period. Regehr is a graduate of Frederic Remington High School. Her parents are Curtiss and Tammy Regehr.
• Emma Regier, Newton, has been awarded the President’s Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $32,000 over a four-year period. Regier is a graduate of Newton High School. Her parents are Chuck and Cindy Regier.
• Abram Rodenberg, Halstead, has been awarded the Thresher Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $34,400 over a four-year period. Rodenberg is a graduate of Halstead High School. His parents are Mark and Shirley Rodenberg.
• Austin Unruh, Goessel, has been awarded the President’s Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $32,000 over a four-year period. Unruh is a graduate of Goessel High School. His parents are Duane and Karen Unruh.
• Kristin Unruh, Goessel, has been awarded the Dean’s Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $27,200 over a four-year period. Unruh is a graduate of Goessel High School. Her parents are Diane and Fred Unruh.
• Paul Voran, Newton, has been awarded the Dean’s Academic Scholarship from Bethel College for the 2009-10 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $27,200 over a four-year period. Voran is a graduate of Newton High School. His parents are Brent and Cora Voran.
