6:30 p.m. — Keep It Simple Beginners Alcoholics Anonymous, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church rectory basement, 415 S. Ash. The group also meets at the same time and location Sundays and Tuesdays.

6:30 p.m. — Newton Area After Five Club, The Breadbasket, 219 N. Main St. in Newton. The cost will be $9 (inclusive). Guest speaker will be Kathy Colman of Kansas City, Mo., speaking about “Surviving.” She is a former flight attendant who survived several crashes. Special music by Max C. Dunn, vocals and keyboard. June 23

7 p.m. — Annual Meeting of the KBRS Contributors, Menno Hall at Kidron Bethel Village. Elections will be held for the board of directors, and management will present updates on the Village and Campus Woods Estates. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
