Tina Schmidt-Tieszen of Newton and Daniel Graber of Freeman, S.D., together with their parents, announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Wes and Ada Schmidt-Tieszen of Newton. She is a 2007 graduate of Bethel College in North Newton with a degree in social work and has an LBSW. She will move to Sioux Falls, S.D., after the wedding.
Her fiance is the son of Steve and Linda Graber of Freeman. He is a 2008 graduate of Bethel College in North Newton with a degree in music performance and is director of music at First Presbyterian Church in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Grandparents are Art and Ruth Schmidt of North Newton, Margaret and Vern Tieszen of Caldwell, Idaho, and Peter and Caroline Graber of Freeman.
The couple plans to marry Oct. 17 at Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton.
