Society inducts Newton students

NEWTON —

Nineteen juniors and one senior from Newton High School were inducted into membership of the National Honor Society in a ceremony on Oct. 11 at the high school.

Members were selected through a process that examined scholarship, service, leadership and character. President Feilisha Kutilike, Secretary Katie Honas, Treasurer Celeste Blann and John Bergen assisted in the ceremony. The students inducted were juniors: Angelina Adame, Caroline Blaufuss, Alexis Coffey, Alexis Coffey, Jessica Crumrine, Laurel Edwards, Joanna Epp, Dylan Jantz, Maria Jantz, Olivia Miller, Jason Palmer, Maggie Porter, Erin Regier, Lindsey Regier, Lindsay Schmidt, Abigail Schrag, Samuel Smucker, Chandler Williams and Bryce Volk, and senior Curtis Fischer.
