Emporia announces scholarships

The 2011-12 class of Capitol Federal Savings Scholars in Emporia State University’s School of Business were chosen.

The scholarship, reserved for business students from Kansas high schools who maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average, is benefitting 28 students in its 10th year at ESU.

Students include:

• Seniors — Krista Saylor of Newton.

• MBA students — Carissa Garcia of Newton and Nicole Skala of Newton.
