With the new school configuration for 2010-11, Newton USD 373 will operate free shuttle buses for students, between Santa Fe 5th/6th Center and Chisholm Middle School.
Shuttles will run before and after school.
The morning shuttles will run at 7:45 a.m., and the after-school shuttles will run when school lets out.
Any student may ride the shuttles between the two schools, however parents must complete a transportation request form in order for their student to be allowed to ride the shuttle.
On the first two days, Thursday and Friday, students may board the shuttles and will be given transportation forms for their parents to complete and return to the school the following week.
Students who plan to ride the shuttle should observe the following schedule:
• Bus No. 8 will load and leave Santa Fe bound for Chisholm at 7:45 a.m.
• Bus No. 9 will load and leave Chisholm bound for Santa Fe at 7:45 a.m.
Students must be on the bus by 7:45 a.m., as they will need to leave promptly to arrive at the destination school on time.
• Bus No. 2 will load at Chisholm after school is out and deliver to Santa Fe.
• Bus No. 4 will load at Santa Fe after school is out and deliver to Chisholm.
Santa Fe shuttles will load and be dropped off at the bus zone on the north side of the building.
Chisholm shuttles will load and be dropped at the south side of the building in the bus zone.
