Denise Neubauer announced her resignation from the Burrton school district at the board’s meeting Monday night.

Neubauer is in her second term on the board and said she was resigning at the end of June because of time constraints, said Superintendent Jeff Shearon.

There will be a year remaining on Neubauer’s term. Applications will be taken, and the board will appoint someone to fill the vacant position.

Shearon said information will be released soon on that application process.
