Finalists toured the Newton school district, then met with guests at the Carriage Factory. This year’s finalists are, from the left, Mary Bradshaw, Newton; Marylin Fox, Manhattan-Ogden; Mary Martha Good, El Dorado; Cynthia Venard, Dodge City; Walter Cochran, Gardner-Edgerton; Jennifer Hartman, De Soto; Julie Miller, Paola; and Cynthia Couchman, Buhler, who was this year’s Teacher of the Year.
