At the annual contributors’ meeting in June, Kidron Bethel Retirement Services Inc. of North Newton elected three new members to its board of directors. Larry Becker, Rosie Goering Brandt and Ron Peters, all of North Newton, were elected to three-year terms.
Other members of the board are Joan Brubacher, John Buckner, Tony Graber, member at-large Don Schmidt, treasurer Donald J. Voth and secretary Orlyn Zehr, whose terms expire in 2010; Connie Claassen, Bernice Esau, vice chairman Paul Harder, Greg Hinz, Pam Schmidt and J. Wendell Wiens, whose terms expire in 2011; and Jim Goering, chairwoman Kaye Penner and John Sommer, whose terms will expire in 2012.
Kidron Bethel Retirement Services Inc., is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation operating Kidron Bethel Village, a continuing-care retirement community. The campus, located at 3001 Ivy Drive in North Newton, features independent living, including income-based rental apartments, assisted living and skilled nursing.
