Chad Ryan Klaassen of Whitewater and Heather Michelle Reid of Wichita were married during a 2 p.m. June 4, 2011, ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul in Andover.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Renée Reid of Wichita. The groom is the son of Calvin and Joann Klaassen of Whitewater.
The bride is the granddaughter of Joan Reid of Delaware and Barbara Favicchia of Connecticut. The groom is the grandson of Laverne Mosiman of Whitewater.
Heather graduated from Wichita East High School in 2006 and from The University of Kansas in May 2010 with a degree in communications.
Chad is a 2006 graduate of Remington High School, attended Bethel College and graduated from The University of Kansas in May 2011 with a degree in aerospace engineering.
Matron of honor was sister of the bride Allison Drake. Bridesmaids were Anne Crook, Kara Southern, Courtney Colvin, Katie Bengtson, Kiley Barnes, sister of the groom, and Jeni Klaassen, sister-in-law of the groom.
Best man was brother of the groom Jeff Klaassen. Groomsmen were Grant Phares; Steve Lowe; Gavin Wuthrich; brother of the bride Ryan Reid; Gabe Myers; and Michael Cain.
Ring bearer was Colton Barnes, nephew of the groom. Flower girls were Ava Klaassen, Britany Klaassen and Brooklyn Barnes, nieces of the groom.
Presiding were Father Mike Baldwin and Pastor Steve Weldon.
The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, and they have made their home in Kechi.
