NHS class of ’79 30-year reunion

The Newton High School class of 1979 had its 30-year reunion during homecoming weekend Oct. 1 through 4.

The weekend began with the Taste of Newton on Thursday, then tailgating before Newton played Wyandotte, followed by gathering at Jim Spencer’s for some homemade chili.

Committee members were Liz Arellano Koehn, Michelle Entz Pfautz, Carol Runnells Salsbery, Debbie Arellano Burch, Steve Opland, Van Parks, Crystal Johnson Bierod, Chelle Gaede, Brad Moser, Gary Alumbaugh and Jeanie Rucker Fuller.
