The following is the Meals on Wheels menu for Sunday, Feb. 5, through Saturday, Feb. 11. Items for people with diabetes are listed in parentheses.
Sunday — Roast beef, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, green beans, tropical fruit, roll, ice cream, jelly, (sugar-free ice cream).
Monday — Ham loaf, baked potato, scalloped apples, roll, white cake, jelly, (angelfood cake), milk.
Tuesday — Beef stroganoff, noodles, broccoli, plums, oatbran muffin, jelly, (sugar-free jelly), milk.
Wednesday — Sweet and sour chicken breast, rice, California vegetables, fruit cocktail, roll, jelly, milk.
Thursday — Baked pork chop, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, carrots, pineapple, roll, oatmeal raisin cookie, jelly, (graham crackers), milk.
Friday — Sloppy joe, bun, french fries, mixed vegetables, pears, milk.
Saturday — Baked chicken, mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, succotash, mandarin oranges, roll, milk.

The meals are prepared by Newton Medical Center and are delivered by volunteers seven days a week, including holidays. Diabetic diets are served when ordered by a physician.
