The Bethel College Academy of Performing Arts is extending an invitation to its Haunt Fest from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the downtown location, 123 E. Broadway St.

Take a short walk off of the Main Street festivities for safe, spooky fun at the academy.

The academy’s dance students will perform at 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., and the Suzuki students will play throughout the party.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at the door.

There also will be tickets for a cake walk for sale. After enjoying the bean bag toss or the monster’s treasure chest, take a tour through the Laboratory of Terror.

Bring a pumpkin to decorate or bring in your already-made jack-o-lantern to be judged in the jack-o-lantern contest.

There also will be vouchers available to take a free dance class. Be sure to wear your costumes for the costume contest at the end of the party.
