COLUMBIA, S.C. —
Army National Guard Pvt. Ryan L. Johnson has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia.
Johnson is the son of Mary and Leon Johnson of Peabody. He is a 2010 graduate of Peabody-Burns Junior-Senior High School.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills.
